The Krakatau Volcanic activity recommenced in May, 1883, and continued into August, the first eruptions appearing on the northern volcano. The number of active vents increased on both the northern volcanoes. On the 26th and 27th August a series of cataclysmic explosions occurred which were heard as far way as South Australian and Ceylon. The generated tsunamis (tidal waves) that were registered even in the English channel, and which in the Sunda Strait area were devastating, killing more than 36,0000 people. The total volume of material ejected by the eruption is estimated at some 18-21 cubic kilometers, with an ash cloud circling the earth several times causing” blue suns” and “orange moons” in Europe and North America. The amount of the sun’s energy reaching the earth was reduced, and in the year or two that followed, annual average temperatures in the northern hemisphere were lower than usual.

ITINERARY
05:30 Early in the morning we will pick you up from Jakarta by private car with air condition car and directly to the harbor of Anyer and it takes around 3,5 hours. Breakfast time will be served on the boat while cruising to Krakatau Volcano and while having breakfast time you will see the beautiful Glory Morning next to the harbor. The journey to Krakatau it will takes about 1,5 hours by speed boat with double engine.
10:30 Arrive at Krakatau around then we star to climb the Child of Krakatau but its only to first level and you may not climb to second level because now its being active and also the gas of poison. Then take a picture on the top of first level while enjoying the beautiful of landscape. And after that we may going down to the beach to go around of Anak Krakatau by speed boat then we will continue the cruise to Rakata Island for snorkeling activity.
12:00 Lunch time will be served on the beach while relaxing and leisure your time.
16:00 We will cruise back to the harbor to drive back to Jakarta and it takes about 1,5 hours as we leaved before. Then drive back to Jakarta and the trip will be ending in Jakarta
